On-Line Weather for Marysville Planned
UGFM is about to commence broadcasting some of its programmes each week from our satellite studios at Marysville.
As part of the project UGFM intends to purchase and install an automatic weather station which will be located near the temporary village.
Emergency services will also be involved as it will also be of benefit to
them and the community in general. Marysville SES and Marysville CFA are contributing towards the project.
The weather observations for Marysville will be available for anyone to
monitor by computer.
It is hoped this facility will be operational by late August, 2009.
Details will be promoted and advertised as soon as installation and testing is complete. Equipment is currently on order.
