New UGFM Satellite Studio At MARYSVILLE
With assistance from many in the Marysville district community
and assistance from some very generous organizations this new facility was officially opened on Sunday, 17th May, 2009.
The opening was carried out in conjunction with the official opening of the new temporary village.
The Governor of Victoria performed the ceremony which involved special broadcasting from the new studios hosted by Jill Singer.
A great day for all.
Congratulations to those that worked feverishly to get the new equipment
up and running in time.
Our plan is to present a number of programmes from Marysville each week as soon as training of presenters is finalised. This will be by about the end of July, 2009. Local Marysville area presenters are expected to commence broadcasting some programmes from the Marysville satellite studios during August, 2009.
